How much are you looking to spend? I've got as complete a setup as you're going to find anywhere, but it's far from the stock JRSC setup:

M62 ported and rebuilt by Endyn (no miles since)
LHT intercooler modified GSR intake manifold (easily moded to fit B16)
LHT ported S tube and bored to fit 68mm TB
LHT 68mm TB
Mustang Cobra heat exchanger
Johnson electric water pump (brand new)
MVM stepper alternator pulley
CRV crank pulley
DSM EVO9 560cc injectors (freshly cleaned and blueprinted by RC Engineering)
Hondata S300 (brand new in the box)
All brackets spacers, washers, bolts, etc...

*** EDIT *** Just remembered I have a slightly used Kamikaze with 2 1/2" collector coated black by Kamikaze to throw in the mix as well.

All you need is some belts, an ECU for the S300, a resistor box for the injectors, some water lines and a reservoir for the intercooler, and some misc gaskets, etc... or Hondabond/Permatex. You could make 15 psi with this setup and have a safe daily driver supercharged ride with between 260 and 300 whp depending on the state of your motor and your exhaust system (oh, and a good tune too).

GSR cams are the best oem cam for boost. When I had my b16a tuned the tuner wasn't able to get any extra power with the stock cams. http://www.ftlracing.com has some good info on supercharger set ups.

you can look at my setup up on top. I'm getting about 35 mpg after my tune. Its sweet as hell! Weekend...er...on occassion-track-car and my daily driver. I stay out of boost as much as possible because i don't like to beat on my car.

word. I was going to do the ITR intake and GSR exhaust cam combo but the guys who tuned my car said they dyno'd this setup. if I remember correctly, they didn't make that much more power over the stock GSR cams all together. If anything, and if I really wanted to, just to go with ITR cams (both exhaust an intake) and I would gain a few more hp but my low end would be sacraficed for the high end.

nice. what were you getting with ur stock motor? cuz i have a stock 99 gsr and the mileage on it isn't that great i'm scared after putting the supercharger in its going to be worse but people told me it should actually be better with the supercharger after a tuned. right now i get an average of like 23mpg maybe sometimes more or less

the s/c isnt gonna affect your mpg as long as u keep your right foot out of it, its when u hit boost it adds extra fuel and your mpg goes down the drain

same thing here, CRX stock b16, after getting tuned it can get 35mpg on flat highway situations, usually steady around 28-30 regular driving, the best I ever got with the stock b16 was 28mpg but it was usually less.

Got some boost issues. ITR motor with stock crank pulley, 4.2 nose, and MVM stepper pulley. I had a steady 9.0psi (according to data logger) when I had my highflow 2.5 carsound cat. Gutted the cat and changed nothing else and went down to 8.5psi according to the data logger (that's normal to lose boost with better flowing exhaust according to my research here).

But the problem is now, nothing has changed. I'm hitting 6.8psi AT MOST and it falls after around 6.5k rpm. Belts are tight, overtightened actually. WTF is the problem?

I'm looking for ideas on how to mount mine.
You can always use some zip ties through the fins in the core. or some duct tape

Hi to all HT members! Sorry I haven't been on for a while. I had to get out of the game because of smog issues. xP

But anyway, here is my setup

00 B18C1
JRSC @ 5 PSI
Comptech headers
450CC DSM (Bluetops)
Slacked up AEM intake arm w/ Apex'i Power Intake
Invidia/RS*R exhaust
Tuned on a Apex'i VAFC2

I have been wanting to try out nitrous but have no idea of which route i should go. So I am asking the people who have tried running nitrous on their JRSC setup.

So far I only have 2 questions:
- Should I go wet or dry?
- What brand should I go with?

Some people tell me to go with ZEX because its "safer".

Direct port replaces the fuel rail and you have a nitrous injector ring under the fuel injector, so it sprays the same amount in to each cyl. I havne't personally used it, but know several people that have it. They have had less problems with this kit than any other kit they have used.

The only one that I know of that has used n2o with their jrsc is Veris, and I think it was a really small shot.
