An ice box is fantasitc, but expensive. ~300

Weapon R sells boxes relatively cheaply. ~60-100

That would be great, but I don't suspect HT would setup a new forum.

I've tried to compile as much information as I could on my website. If I'm missing important information and you'd like to compile it, I'll host it. That goes for anyone.

I would trust a oem honda one before a JRSC one. I think honda has some better quality control.

The only "crank" pulleys that I know of that were made by Jackson Racing are the ones for the EK (D16Y7 and D16Y8) kits because they needed to move the whole drive belt assembly away from the shock tower. They accomplished that by going to a 3 rib belt (EKs originally had 4 rib alternator belts). These also did not have any of the rubber crank vibration/harmonic damper stuff.

If you want a bigger crank pulley for a B series, you either have to get something custom made, or go with the CRV or LS (depending on what you're starting with). Otherwise, you're stuck with a smaller blower snout pulley or an overdrive stepper (alternator) pulley.

I had one of the JR B-series oversized crank pulleys, ran it for a while. Just call them and ask for the pulley from the "Boost Upgrade Kit": http://www.supercharger.com/Sh...33958 . As I recall, it wasn't cheap, but it was a nice pulley, made out of machined aluminum and hard anodized.

Well guys...hate if you want but it looks like I will be trading my "Stock" JRSC kit and the CRV pulley to a local guy for some body work and a paint job. Here is what I have already bought..... http://www.synapseturbo.com/mm...tures

I am getting the 57 trim, so it is pretty small and should spool pretty fast. I am just too damn greedy. All the JR stuff is pulled off my car right now (except the JR battery tie down LOL) I also paid 200 bucks extra to get the A/C kit.

It has been fun sharing and gaining info from you guys, especially Roger and Veris. You guys go outta your way to help people out and for them to see just how nice these JRSC cars can be. If I had a VTEC engine I might have stuck with it but you can only get so much out of these M45 kits. After doing a cost comparison, the turbo kit comes out ahead of doing a VTEC swap and getting a new kit.

I need to stop typing now that the Percocet has kicked in from my surgery LOL

The Syapse kit looks nice.. good luck! let us know how it goes... and if you miss your JRSC at all

After I get the LHT and MVM pulley on, I think that tops out my performance build. Afterwards, I'll probably go back to building up the suspension and brakes.. maybe a bigger rotor and/or PIC coilovers.

I know that I am going to miss the instant boost and low end torque...plus the whine was a great conversation starter.

My motor is at the shop finally gettin cp 9.5:1 pistons and eagle rods as well as full rev valvetrain for the head. I have been eyeballin the synapse turbo kits for a while now, and I really like the topmount with the gt3076r. http://www.synapseturbo.com/mm...folds I havnt decited whether I am going to run the s/c on the new motor for a while or just wait til I have everything to go turbo, either way ill post up the results

Yup building an Ls/Vtec:
Darton sleeves 84mm
Cp pistons (compression will be figured out soon as we make the mold of the compression chamber but should be 9:1)
Eagle rods w/ arp rod bolts
acl bearings
resurfaced B18C5 head with 5 angle valve job
Ferrea valves and bronze valve guides
Supertech valve springs and retainers
gsr intake cam / itr exhaust cam
arp headstuds

should be nice!

PROBLEM!

I recently datalogged my car to see what it is doing.. and I lost 3PSI of boost into thin air.

Logging through the MAP sensor which is hooked up to the blower case.

I used to get around 5.5 psi. Now i am picking up 2.1 when I try. Vacumn still reads 21-22 inHG.

Where can the boost have gone? The only thing I can think of is something is keeping my bypass valve from closing all the way? Has anybody else experienced this or has any other ideas for what to check?

I forgot to mention, I just tightened up the SC belt, and I get the same numbers.
EDIT: Tightened up both SC and Alt belts, and I'm now getting 3psi. so part of it was probably due to belt slip....

any other options? I should be getting like 5.5!
